AlgoLab LLC operates HumanizeAI. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

HumanizeAI helps users rewrite text in a more natural style and detect signs of AI-generated writing. To provide those features, the app sends the text you submit to AlgoLab's secure API for processing.

Information We Collect or Process

We collect or process the following categories of information when you use HumanizeAI:

  • Text you submit. Text entered for rewriting, humanizing, AI detection, saved drafts, and related outputs may be processed to provide app features.
  • App-generated identifiers. The app creates a random installation ID. This ID is used for request authentication, quota limits, replay protection, and subscription access. It is not your name, email address, or advertising ID.
  • Usage, service, and log data. We process request timestamps, nonces, request IDs, quota counters, entitlement checks, error information, response status, and technical or network data such as IP address and user agent where needed to operate, debug, and secure the service.
  • Analytics data. The app uses Firebase Analytics to understand screen views, feature taps, quota-limit views, paywall views, purchase and restore flow status, broad text-length buckets, selected tone or strength settings, plan type, and error categories. We do not intentionally send submitted text, generated output, detection result text, saved history text, or raw installation IDs to Firebase Analytics.
  • Purchase and subscription data. If you purchase a subscription, Google Play and RevenueCat process purchase status, entitlement, product, and renewal information so we can unlock paid features.
  • Local app data. The app stores history, drafts, settings, onboarding status, and the installation ID on your device using local Android storage.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve HumanizeAI. This includes processing your text requests, returning rewritten or detection results, enforcing free usage limits, preventing replay or abusive requests, restoring subscriptions, troubleshooting errors, and responding to support requests.

We use analytics to understand which features are used, where users encounter quota or payment friction, whether purchase and restore flows complete successfully, and where reliability issues occur. Analytics events are designed to use categories and buckets instead of the text you submit.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service Logs

Our backend and hosting providers may create service and security logs when the app contacts our API. These logs can include the request endpoint, timestamp, installation ID, nonce, request ID, response status, error code, quota or subscription event, IP address, user agent, and related network metadata.

We use logs to diagnose failures, prevent replay or abusive requests, enforce usage limits, confirm subscription access, maintain service reliability, and protect the app. We do not use service logs to sell personal information or build advertising profiles.

Analytics

The Android app uses Google Firebase Analytics. Firebase Analytics may process app instance identifiers, device and app metadata, screen views, app interactions, in-app purchase or subscription events, diagnostic data, and coarse location inferred from network information as part of Google Play services and Firebase Analytics.

The app disables Firebase advertising ID collection and ad personalization signals where supported, and the app manifest removes Android advertising ID permissions. Firebase Analytics is used for product analytics, reliability, and purchase-funnel measurement, not to send your submitted text to advertising systems.

Text Processing and AI Providers

When you submit text for humanizing or detection, the app sends that text to AlgoLab's backend service at hizeapi.algolabllc.com. The backend may use third-party AI model and infrastructure providers to generate results. These providers may process submitted text and related request metadata as needed to return the requested result and operate their services. Your submitted text is processed to fulfill the request and is not intended to be used to identify you directly.

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information, confidential business information, passwords, payment card numbers, health information, or other information you do not want processed by an AI service.

Payments and Third-Party Services

HumanizeAI uses Google Play Billing for Android purchases, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, and Firebase Analytics for app analytics. These providers may receive purchase identifiers, subscription status, product identifiers, device or app metadata, analytics events, and related transaction information. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores history, drafts, settings, and the app-generated installation ID locally on your device. You can delete individual history items in the app where supported, and you can export local history from Settings. Uninstalling the app generally removes local app data from the device. Android backup or device transfer features may preserve some local app data depending on your device and Google account settings.

Sharing of Information

We share information only as needed to provide and operate the app, including with service providers that host our backend, process AI requests, manage subscriptions, process purchases, measure app usage, maintain logs, provide security, or help us respond to support inquiries. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, AlgoLab, or others.

Retention and Deletion

Local history and drafts remain on your device until you delete them in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Backend request logs, quota records, security records, and subscription records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Analytics data is retained according to Google Firebase Analytics settings and policies. We use aggregated analytics to understand app usage and reliability trends.

You may request deletion of information associated with your app installation or support communications by contacting us at hello@algolabllc.com. We may need information from you to verify and locate the relevant records.

Children's Privacy

HumanizeAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International Processing

AlgoLab LLC is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS, request signing, and replay protection for API requests. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after an update means the updated policy applies.
